Internships

The University of the Middle East Project regularly offers internships to both undergraduate and graduate students. We accept students with expertise in a wide range of disciplines, including,

• Education
• International Development
• Non-profit and NGO administration
• Middle East and North Africa regional studies

We value our interns greatly and often trust them with high levels of responsibility. Interns' assignments can vary widely, or may be focused on their areas of interest and ability. Exposure to the Middle East or North Africa, either through travel in the region or proficiency in a relevant language, is looked upon favorably.

UME currently offers two internships: the International NGO Management Internship during the academic year, and the Teacher Education Institute Internship from the last two weeks of June until the first week of August. Additionally, short-term volunteers and special project interns are occasionally accepted, depending on applicant interest.
